PAICTA creates pathways to economic prosperity by launching digital careers for African Youth, Women and persons with disabilities from underserved communities through digital skills training, development, mentorship and technopreneurship.
PAICTA envisions a future where our African rural and peri-rural communities have diverse digital skills, and clear pathways exist for all people regardless of ethnicity, gender, or socio-economic background to develop, grow, sustain and succeed as impactful participants in the digital economy.
We are dedicated to the success of our youth, women, persons with disabilities, team and stakeholders.
We are transparent, honest and ethical in all interactions.
We are committed to efforts that build respect, dignity, fairness, equity and self-esteem.
We work together to transform lives and strengthen rural and peri-rural communities.
We learn from our mistakes and successes in equal measure.
We’re on a mission to close the vast and growing digital gap between rural, peri-rural, and urban households and their counterparts across Africa.
We intend to level the playing field through training, education, networking, and mentorship with the support of allies, partners, sponsors, donors, and most importantly our global members.
PAICTA believes that every youth in every rural and peri-rural community should have the opportunity to learn computer science. Together with a generous community of institutional, corporate, and individual supporters, we will be able to increase access to computer science education in the whole African continent.
PAICTA is a non-profit dedicated to expanding access to computer science in rural and peri-rural communities and increasing participation by youth, women, and persons with disabilities from underrepresented groups.
